Hi to all!

Just bought a '98 Marea Weekend 1.8 16v, and are very pleased with it.
I have one question. Problem is clock, it is disconnected and only shows clock, when engine is running (or key in start position) and I have to set it each time (no key no clock :( ). The same with bass and treble setting on the radio, each time I turn on radio I have to set it again :(
I think that one +line for radio/clock is miss connected to key contact instead of battery...
Any suggestions? How to take out radio and look?

Is there an PDF user manual somewhere on th Internet? I got mine only in Italian...

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Strange fault, what you say sounds about right, but if you lose power to the radio the code should also reset.
If you dont have the radio extractors you have to fiddle around the sides of the radio with a couple of feeler guages or similar. Difficult to do without damaging the dash.
I have not come across any online manuals for Mareas, I'm currently making do with a paper Brava/o manual and a Coupe PDF manual. I would be interested to know where you got your copy from.:D

ups, my mistake... I got only Italian printed manual :( not an PDF...
Strange thing sure, and also radio stations presets remain stored in radio...
but bass, treble and clock no... guess I'll have to drive it to Fiat service...

see how much you can get one from a scrapyard first, those fiat dealers can be quite expensive

Met Cognac 99 Brava 100 HSX, what do you want? cupholders? open door warning light? grow up!

You could always stick an aftermarket (and basically better) head unit in.

making sure that the headunit is compatable with the steering wheel controls
