hi, my marea is a 130jtd from '99.
its aqt the dealer for two weeks now and they still don't know whats wrong.[xx(]
problem: when the engine gets worm(after about 15 min. idle) the engine cuts off. when i try to restart the injection light comes on, the engine turns over but doesn't start.
if i wait for 20 min. (doing nothing) it starts again without any problem.[?]
the diagnostic computer at the dealer showd a problem with the rev sensor and the fase sensor. these two would be incoherent with eachother. cause: no rev information.
we changed the rev sensor and the problem still exists.
note: about 2 months before i had put a novitec powerrail in my car.therefore i have been working on the wires at the computer. these wires have now all been replaced (only parts neer computer) and the powerrail has been removed until the problem can be isolated.

anybody any idea how i can get it running again, or ewhat the problem could be?

it seems to be fixed now.
the rev sensor was burned out. probably because i didn't disconect the batery when i put the powerrail in. a short touch caused the sensor to short out .
so the lesson i learned for only €360,- (about 450 us dollar)is to take the battery out next time.B)
expensive lesson so i'll try to remember when i put the powerrail back in. (o yeah, i'll put it back in alright! most fun i had with a car ever: street legal! emisions still ok! 160 bhp and 350 Nm.
