Guys, any pointers on this one would be a great help!!!!

Just returned from Holiday and something has happened to the front end of my Marea Weekend. With the weight in the boot it wasn't noticeable but when i drove it unloaded there is a terrible noise coming from the front suspension i think. When i go over a road hump it seems to catch on something underneath. When i had a look there were some scuff marks on the leading edge of the oil sump.
I've checked the suspension and all seems ok, no cracked springs, no leaking strutts. I replaced the drop links about 6 mths ago and both wishbones 12mths ago. The engine and car both appear to be sitting level i.e. not listing to one side. I've measured the spacing between wheel arch and tyre and both appear the same. It must has dropped some how but how i can't work out as i have never had this before.
What else could cause the front end to drop? I should mention i have had some creaking noises originating from the front end for a little while but could never work out where from. This maybe associated to this problem.

Had a look yesterday morning and checked a few receipts and my dates were wrong on the front wishbones. They've been on a little less than 2 years not 1. The front bushes have gone so it must be them that are creating the noise. The scuff marks on the oil sump might not be recent so it'll be a new set of wishbones again. Failure within 2 years seems a little odd but where i live there are a mass of speed humps which i think might have something to do with it.

Complain to the council and demand some compensation for their speed humps damaging your car.
