how much are Fiat labour rates in the Midlands - I've been told they are around £65 per hour (includes VAT)
Stuart DemonD said:Yep, sounds about right - although I pay £65 plus VAT at my local dealership.

That an addition or a reduction to the price, lolT14086 said:£45 up here with 10% for good customers

poggy said:I think that is pretty cheap, where are you based. What most people don't realise is that it may sound a lot at £45 for one mechanic, but you have to pay for equipment, the building, the other staff at reception, account staff, insurances, rates etc etc out the same amount.

Depends on area aswell I guess, some rates in London hit £100 (not Fiat!) per hour, which is unfair to be honest.Perhaps the view is if you can afford a house in London you can afford high rates?

T14086 said:Jeeeez £110 !!! Thats more than a accountant charges!
poggy said:You wouldn't catch Stu working for £110
That sounds quite dear for a trainee [well, based on what we charge here] - she must work for a larger firm, with more partners and office overheads. That is why my rate dropped so much when I moved practices.rroope said:Oh Stu, my sister's an accountant, trainee I think, she's charged out at £40 per hour at the moment . . . got a bit of a way to go!
