I posted this in the Stilo section but thought id post this here too as someone who doesnt look in the stilo section may know the answer to my question, which is....

Does anyone know where Fan Relay Switch 1 is on the stilo?

I been told its on the side of the thermostat, but i cant see it and neither could the guy at the garage

Hi dude you still trying to sort out your over heating problem I dont think you will find a relay there have you got the cd repair procedure in there they show the location of all relays I would think anybody got one get looking help him out

Its not overheating i just got the radiator fan permantly on

Have you had the thermo swich checked

Yes I was the one that replyed PNL it has to be the thermo switch because if it was a fuse/relay then you should have no power to thermo switch and supply would be dead to fan BUT if thermo switch is faulty and letting currant past reguardless of temp hence fan on perminant

I'm just going on what the diagnostic machine threw up today and if i knew where the fan relay switch was i could show the guy at the garage and get it checked

Ah so youve a diagnostic and the print out specificaly said relay fault

Right found my maintenance cd been through it all I could find is 1.8/jtd rad fan maxi fuseFO6 that next to battery and the only relays listed are J34 passenger compartment air fan 1 speed relay J36 additional heater relay and J37 additional heater relay 2 there are no other relays listed hope that is of some help cheers mate
