Has anyone dealt with them before? I ordered a de-cat pipe yesterday and got the automated invoice response emails. I have been trying to contact them all day to get a date when i can expect to take delivery as i need it asap but have had no response all day either by phone or email?

Anyone bought from them before and how long was it until your items came?

Just search for Gazella on this forum - many many threads and everyone will be moaning about delivery times and total lack of response, if any.

yeah i did as soon as i made the thread and was not best pleased about what i found. Atleast people got the bits-even if it was after a long time

i bought a decat from them recently. You will get it in about 3 weeks. If only they would confirm the order and give an estimated delivery date you wouldn't get worried.

Mmmm, not only are they relaxed with their delivery schedules, very expensive as well. I'm very cynical & for good reason these days. It's no help now but GR has a long history of late delivery times. Personally & it's only my thoughts as I said far too expensive for what they sell.

Used them for a number of bits back in the day.

Never had any problems receiving the parts but yes, they did sometimes take a while to get here.

I assume they operate by ordering parts from the manufacturers when they get an order rather than keeping lots of stock which could be hard to shift. Fantastic from them as they don't have capital tied up in stock and don't have to pay for storage but ultimately a let down for the customer if manufacturers can't get parts out quickly.

I placed my order (GBP1240.43) on 06/07/2011 and payment was promptly made via WorldPay after a call to Chris who mentioned that Paypal has a higher processing fee bla blah.. So I accommodated to his request as his service seemed pretty alright.

He told me that the delivery to my place (Singapore) will take only about 5-7 days. I sent him an email on 20/07/2011 and gave him a call to check on the status of my order and he told me that it was the holiday seasons over in the UK, shipments were being delayed, etc.. I trusted him and placed another order (GBP40.79) on that day itself.

Come late July, I was getting a little worried and emailed him regarding the order, and there weren't any replies... So I guessed he was busy... In August, I emailed him again and still no reply till days later when he emailed me saying he was away for business, etc...

Guess what, now it's September.. still no shipment despite the email from Chris saying that he will send me the shipping list the next day.. Called numerous times, and he sent me an email "Dear Sir, we will reply to you"

Nothing more from him, no more emails were replied, no calls were answered...

Anyone who personally knows them or are able to contact them? I'm already contemplating making a fraud report via the relevant authority.

This is such a bad experience... It isn't a small sum of money involved as well... Really irks me... :(

I am owed over £600 by Gazzella since 2008. Despite calls and e-mails I only recently received a response stating they don't have a record of me as a customer!!! yet i spent over £2k with them. I too get no answer to my calls which does worry me.

I am a member of the Alfa Owners (AO) forum too and there is a a lot of griping there too about Gazzella's performance on delivering parts. Indeed one customer has come forward to say he was 'stung' by them for £170ish pounds.

My partner is a barrister and is drafting a 'pre-action protocol' letter ahead of taking them to the small claims court this week to recover my money.

Best of luck with this Rog. I tend to do my homework when dealing with companies that I purchase from. Personally as I said earlier I find them extremely expensive. I've read so much negative information about them,I'm surprised they're still trading.

I have a contact addy but i think its the same as everyone else has. i have sent an email though it may help.

If you can provide me with that e-mail privately it would be helpful. I thought Chris and Larrs were the two owners.

I believe they are scandinavian and Chris travelled to and fro quite often.

Just an update...

My bank is still in the midst of investigating the dispute case. But they have already credited me with the transaction amount... :)

Glad that I can still recover my money... Never ever gonna contact gazzella anymore... blacklisted!!!

I have made my new order via Larkspeed... hope it's gonna be good... They provided me with a tracking number very soon after informing me that my order has been shipped.
