hey guys..
was hoping asomeone may be able to help me with a little problem i have with a 1.1 fiat punto...
it has problems when filling up with fuel , only lets you put in like 50p before the pump clicks off.. very annoying... takes an eternity to fill the tank..
someone told me they thought it was a common problem with the punto but on calling couple of dealers, they seemed to know nothing obvious...??
any ideas would me much appreciated...

Hi! Have you always had this problem? I have a punto mk2 and I have to hold the feulhose in the "right" position while filling the car, otherwise the pump will click off aswell! I think the hole ( ) is to "tight" in puntos so the feul will touch the wall of the tank if you don´t hold the hose.

I have this problem with my Mk2 Sporting as well...

try holding the fuel nozzle tilted to the left... It takes a bit of practice to get it right but after you get used to it there are no more problems
