i can imagine seeing many of them with the remains of a burnt truck tyre and blackened paint (y)

thing is them are obviosly just money makers! the cameras now (as said on the site) only have a 10% chance of been done by. that is high enough! i recon 1% would be just as good.

after all that would be 1 in a 100 chance of been flashed.... would you take the risk?

Hello all,

the following website gives details of where all the speed cameras in the West Midlands are:

not that we'd ever speed ;):D

the descent into insanity continues unabated

Useful if in the West Midlands... there are of course websites in your area - so you know where the "Accident Blackspots" are...

What ever happened to those cameras they were going to hide in cats eyes?

They were developed for india weren't they where the speed camera is acknowledged as a revenue raising device, rather than any of the drivel about road safety. Whereas over here if they hope to keep any sort pretense the camera have to be large and clearly marked or at least seen to be.

Just remember that 6points = 2 year ban ( or 3) if you've held your license less than 2 years.
Nice story. The truth is rather different.

If at any time during the two years following you passing your first test you reach 6 points you will be set back to learner status by the DVLA. They will write to you telling you the date on which your licence will be revoked. You can't drive after that date unless you get a new licence, which will be a provisional. The gap between revocation and your new licence arriving shouldn't be more than a week if you get your act together.

As soon as you get your provisional licence you can drive with L plates, a supervising driver and insurance that covers you as a learner. You can book a test as soon as you like. Pass the test and you get your full licence back.
