fiat front calipers

fiat front calipers

They work the same way, and some calipers may be spread over different models. But they differ in size depending on diameter of the brake disc. And if the discs are ventilated (meaning air is drawn into the middle of a "double-disc" the caliper must be much wider to bite over the width. So: Yes and No to your question.

would it be possible to fit larger calipers to a cinq from a different model like a punto gt or something similar?

Little Red Devil (L.R.D). Huge ice on its way. Not too far off 1242cc conversion. Still need a rear bumper. "its proper bo i tell thee!"

if you have bigger wheels, yes :p

Well, I'm not familiar with the cinq nor the punto. But GT often means more fun, and more fun needs more brake power. So I guess they are double ventilated discs. The cinq has propably not due to smaller engine. So what you need, is the brake disc AND the caliper. But the conversion method I don't know. Be aware that you can't use your wheels anymore because of the offset. They'll come out of the arches and explode at first speedbump. So you need new alloys as well.

the punto GT brakes fit the front of a cinq, if you have 14"+ wheels
