Warranties Direct

Warranties Direct

Never had dealings with them, but those types of warranties tend to be much of a muchness - Car Care Plan, Warranty Holdings, Warranty Direct etc all cover the same things and reject the same things under a claim, depending what level of warranty you've got (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum). However Warranty Holdings tho are probably the worst I have dealt with at work. Not nice people.

By and large, dealer warranties are there to sell the car, and will more than likely be a "Driveline" warranty which will cover main engine components / gearboxes etc only. I suppose at least as a potential customer with the Warranty Direct you may be able to pick and choose what level of cover you desire.

The dealer warranty you have was probably provided to the dealer by one of the companies mentioned above. If it is, you may want to go back to your dealer and ask if you can upgrade the level of warranty you have on the car as it can be done. There will be a charge but that may be easier.

Hope this helps

Paul
