Hi Everyone,

As the footy season is quickly approaching, it's time to get started with the fantasy football...

Over the last few years I've had a team in the fantasy premier league competition and been set up in a few leagues so thought I'd carry on this year with a FF Championship!! It's all just a bit of fun, I'm sure you all know how the fantasy football works.

The site address to register is http://fantasy.premierleague.com

Once registered, log on and create your team. Then click the "Leagues" link and enter the following code to join a private league (70019-13680). and that'll be you entered into the FF Championship 05/06.

Good Luck and have fun!! If you have any problems give me a shout.

Cheers,
Barry

Spot on - you have 4 subs at the end of selection and it allows you to choose your own formation (eg 4-4-2, 3-5-2, 3-4-3, etc...)

Think you have until around the 13th Aug to submit your team - it's usually the friday before the start and every friday after for making transfers...

I'm a Liverpool fan by the way

Never played on this before. whats this about transfers???

You can make transfers each week if you want to (players in/out) - iirc you get one transfer free each week then it can cost you points.

Comes in handy if a player gets injured for a long period, is playing bad, etc

Squitch united!!

I didnt spend all my cash!!! had 0.5 left :D

How did you do your teams like?

I went for a mixture of solid pros and young talent.

Goalkeepers-not gone for top end keepers, but gone for those i expect for the teams they are playin for, to keep a couple of clean sheets! :D

Defenders-Spent most of my cash here, gone for a couple of man u and aresnal defenders, as i know they will keep a few clean sheets! also gone for defenders that are known to score the old goal!

Midfielders-Spent wisely, gone for ones which wingers which will get assist points and the central midfield which can score goals

Strikers - DGone for a double act which worked well last season, but has now split up due to one movin clubs :D

..i'll sign up later on, can't wait till that first week in August when the premiership starts, and eating your sunday roast on your knee in the front with a nice cold lager watching super sunday on sky sports (y)
