.......I was playing with today.

Got to fool around with my very first PSP and it is just the coolest, most gorgeous little thing I've seen in ages. The quality of the screen is excellent, the menus are all pastel and a bit surreal, and the whole thing is just so nice to hold and fondle.......

....Ooh, I've come over all turbulent.:)

PSP?

Permission to ask a stupid question?....Whats one of those?
Sorry, very rude of me to assume. PlayStation Portable. Some refer to it as PlayStation Personal.

So was it an import Tosh?

Yes, we have a load of foreign people work with us here and one of them came back from the Tokyo office with it. Paid around £175 too, which is a bargain considering I heard they are likely to be around the £300 mark when they're launched here.....

PS joecinq - I spend a lot of time on my nails.....;)

very good machines, i've had mine since it was launched in japan, the games are excellent especially ridge racers and the golf game, I lay in bed every night playing with it ;)

They wont be out in the UK till summer 2005 now though, USA release is in march around the 20th i think. So will still cost around £300 at the mo.

You are a very lucky man, having your own. Does it have the Japanese menus, too? They can be fun to translate. But Ridge Racer, Burnout, GT4 - what better way to spend your time? (Thinks, lying in bed playing with it.........;))

The menus can all be set to english.. If you get a large enough memory stick you can watch mpeg4 movies on it by downloading from your pc via a camera usb cable. You can watch music videos and listen to mp3s,and store and look at you photos on it, so its a really versatile machine.

I feel a need coming on.......

Now how hard do I have to think to convince myself that this is a business tool. Is there any way that I could possibly need this in my business? I'm sure there must be some desperate need for a small video/animation player. And is there any way I could get the taxman to fund it? Oh if ONLY I could it would make completing all those Inland Revenue self-assessment forms worthwhile.......
