Well!!! It took me a couple of weeks but I finally found out the mystery of the Jaffa cakes in Asda.

As you may remember you could get

36 for 98p

12 for 50p

or 24 for £1.15

Apparently a packet of 36 is on promotion as part of Asda's "Roll back" and should be £1.25

This is according to June, the biscuit aisle lady in Asda in Birmingham lol!

Hope this helps clear up the Jaffa cake mystery lol!

you ever seen them people who do the shoping for you? they load up the chilled and frozen stuff then spend ages chatting to thier mates while you stuff sits there melting, cant be good IMO.
No, can't say I have noticed that - I have seen the personal shoppers round our local store as well. But thanks anyway, don't tend to use it much now, prefer Morrisons for locality, prices and offers :)

Yay Charlotte, thank you, I now feel happy thanks to yourself and June. I expect she looked at you weirdly for being so jaffa-savvy? Funnuly enough, I just ate 33p worth :O
