HD TVs

i guess you mean an LCD TV that is HD ready?

"HD ready" only means the screen can support HD, you still need a HD receiver to actually view in HD, such as sky HD or a blu ray disc player.

there are loads of good 32" LCD TVs for under £400.
personally, this is the one i would buy because its spec is perfect and its a samsung.

there is 1080p and 1080i versions - but in regards to full hd, no equipment that is on the market now outputs in full hd so you wouldn't notice the difference.
samsungs are nice and panasonic - don't get me started with lcd or plasma!

and even then, only assuming you have good eyesight imo.
i dont think that could include any of our regular posters, all those hours in front of a screen takes its toll.
the HSE has VDU guidlines - think its like you must take a 15 min break every hour and a half

You could always look around an AV Forum rather than ask on a Fiat Forum for AV advice :)

Some great information on there including set up guides on most TV's as the factory settings as normally pretty poor. Links to TV reviews as well from the various publications.

Advice on buying your TV, for instance John Lewis do a price match on any TV they sell in any other shop I think within 100miles, which is brilliant as you get free 5 year warranty through John Lewis, something you would have to pay for anywhere else after the standard 12 month manufacturer warranty.

1080P is not be all and end all, as the upto 40" sub £1000 TV category demonstrates, Panasonic's 37" Viera Plasma has pretty much run away with the best sub 40" TV for last 2 years, yet being plasma its only 780p as you can't get 1080P plasma unless going above 40", yet it still out performs 1080P LCD's in same price bracket, only TV that beat it I have seen recently was a £1300 Sony LCD.
