Just been out to the bank and to Fill the car (no more than 4 miles) and had 3 occasions where i had to take evasive action because some f##kwit has decided they would like to use the bit of road im on :nutter:

Had a old Corsa turn across my path resulting in excessive use of the horn to warn him of my presence but he continues on his maneuver forcing me to hit the brakes to avoid planting the front bumper of my GP into the rib cages of the teenage Girl in the passenger seat, the look of shear terror of the girl in the passenger seat was priceless hopefully he will be cleaning the mess out of the seat now. He turned off down the closest side street when he realized he was about to get stuck in traffic

Another tried to under take me in a carpark using the empty parking bays as an extra lane and nearly took my nose off.

And another decided he was going to overtake a parked HGV once i was halfway along its length (at my side of the road) directly into my path flashing his lights at me

What the feck is wrong with people doesn't the highway code now apply?

or is it the fact its a friday night and the nights are now light all those that are scared of the dark are now out on the roads???


NOT to mention the near head on i had this morning with some muppet in a van trying to overtake a moped :bang:

my car is safely tucked up at the back of the drive i am pleased to say

andy, watch out for a manual driven hire car as my mum will be driving it whilst hers is being fixed

I managed to get to work and back relatively unscathed (apart from the usual slow numpties ). Apart from someone in an MR2 wanted a race, I don't think he'll bother next time.
