Challenge Churchill?????

I did - I was quote £206 for fully comp on my bravo - not bad at all - cheapest yet!:slayer:

That's pretty good.

I found confused dot com was useless - their cheapest quote was about £100 more than my current policy, but I've not tried Churchill. I had an argument with confused dot com, trying to get them to undercut my current policy, but they chickened out.

I've just bought a Citroën C4 and my current insurers undercut Citroën's so-called discounted and specialist insurance, and with a lower excess of £200 as against £350 and £50 on windscreens as against £75, ceteris paribus.

So try the Co-op - CIS Motor Insurance - they're very good, especially were younger drivers are concerned.

My insurance isnt due for a few months, but i am always having a nosey at what companies have to offer.

I wasnt impressed with Esure. The site is stupid. It said have you had any accidents, claims etc in the last three years. I said yes - ( i had an accident - no claim though) and it wouldnt let me continue :bang: So if someone banged into you - their fault and your no claims wasnt affected, then your stuffed.

I have always found that these adverts never come up to expectation when you phone them .... Sorry sir we cant match that

I have not long renewed mine with Adrian Flux all my mods covered full brake down package is only £42 got my no claims protected and like for like repairs in the event of an accident [which I hope don't happen ] got more for my money than previous insurer and wouldn't recommend anyone going to Zurich and their call centres in India :bang: (n)

Yes I boycott any company that use call centers outsourced to these horrible countrys. I got a call at 10pm from one of these Indian phone operators from my ex-Bank I moved banks the next day. It does my head in!.

Yeah I'll give Churchill a go when its time to renew I normally just dismiss it as there normally crap with younger drivers.

So using the FF name worked? Do you know what percentage off you go?

Just personal opinion but stay away from Churchill. Useless.

Let you know more when the court case is over and done with

Well i suppose its always going to be hit and miss with insurance companies, i mean until your in the unfortunate position of having to claim you will never know how good or indeed bad they are.

Im with Zurich at the minute, reason for that being it was it was who i was with before i bought my stilo after i took out the cover on my previous car and just transferred it over to cover it.
Just challenged churchill and managed to get £300 off my premium(y) ... So unless i plan to crash or be involved in one the only good thing about them at the moment is that their price is far too good not to take up.

Had my Stilo Jtd insured through Churchill for two years and renewal cameback for third year at around £290......not bad I thought, Rang Hasting's as they were advertising on Tv and saved £80........

Had car before Stilo insured with Privilege, got hit by unknown and never found third party.....my car a write off and Privilege were pi##ed off because they had no one to claim against.....surely thats a risk they take!!!!!
Maybe you should get details before you let someone hit you?

Churchill weren't good enough with home contents insurance for me either! Now with Egg for both home and car insurance (and travel when I go snowboarding too!).
H

churchill are cr*p when it comes to young drivers and mods... they cancelled the policy on my escort because i put xr3i alloys on it, and my fiesta they wouldnt cover anything either... the only reason i went with them initially was because i was on my partents insurance so overall it wasnt too costly, but when i tried quoting for my own they wouldnt even touch me, and that was after 2 years insurance

Carol Nash are also very good, I have my Motorbike and Dobbie insured by them, breakdown cover also.

I challenged them last night, waste of time, they wanted £70 more – I'm with Direct Line atm, both Churchill and Direct Line are owned by RBS

churchhill are £60 more for me. Elephant wanted £1254 i think it was..i pay £750ish now
