I am about to renew my insurance (24/04/11) and the difference of protecting/not protecting it is about £50-£60 difference. Surely if i do have a knock and claim (hopefully not) my premium would rise in the future anyway as it would have to be declared(?)
If i take the chance and not protect it and still have a knock, i would probably lose some of my ncd.

Confused as to protect it or not. Suggestions/advice/comments appreciated.
