general question

depends on the company, most now adays say you have to be 25+

i'm 23 and i can

so yeh its true

it says "this certificate does not entitle you to drive any other car" I'll still give them a ring and see what they say

EDIT: just had a look at the leaflet and it says you must be 25 or over to drive any other car :(

Yeh, there cracking down on it now tho cos of ppl abusing it (i.e. insure a group 1/2/3 car fully comp so you can drive your group 99 car cheap)

I was tempted to keep the punto on fully comp and get myself a bravo 1.6 but i don't wanna be caught out in the crack down.

while were on the topic, does anyone know any companies that insure the driver NOT the car so you can drive any car you want anytime and as much as you want? I know the price for me would be sky high (if they even offer a quote) but t'wud be interesting :)

I thought it only covered other cars NOT owned by you - and only if you have permission from the owner.

Therefore, if you own a high group car, it falls outside the scheme anyway.

Consider Liverpool Victoria 3rd party allowed but don't know what age from, never go to RAC they have just got rid of 3rd party on all policies.
