My 04 Idea has 4 spaces in the roof trim where the previous owner must have had a roof rack. The local garage says I need to buy complete new trims. Is this right or should I be able to find the 4 little inserts? Or are they hidden somewhere in the roof?

I think they are meant to fold up so it sound like your have snapped off.

Unless it used to have roof rails and they have been removed.
