Ok - here I am on my bi-anually trip to the ICE section :D

Looking for a replacement for a Bravo standard head unit. Obviously I'll be going for a facia adapter.

I'll be wanting to connect either a USB data stick or a USB hard drive. Not an Ipod. Prefer to keep with the theme of the bravo if possible (green lights on dark grey). Nothing too bling.

Thought this concept was quite impressive:

So lets see what you think could be suitable. (y)

Must be missing something at that price... What's its bad points? Lots of features though. (y)

Sony fanboy here :D Bravia LCD asaica

Sony are good at most things electronic, however, ICE isn't one of them (there are a couple of exceptions though; but that's really high end stuff).

There are a mountain of Kenwood and JVC units for sub 200 quid - I prefer the sound of the JVCs.

Have a look here - http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/usb-players-c-2071.html?cadid=38679d3a4507911805dcf1b76af54646

Must say I've had no issues with my Kenwood.

Problem is getting a radio that doesn't have STEAL ME written all over it. Big flashy equalisers arn't wanted either. I guess that's where my Kenwood excels. It's quite plain but has a lot of features.

I can't say I have come across any bad points, as it does everything I want it to do, and more.

I guess the only downside is that as it comes from the USA all the technical support is over there if anything went wrong with it.
