Hi all,
Decided to treat myself to a nice touchscreen head unit for my new Punto MK2B 53 plate, I was rather looking forward to playing with it but for some reason when connected to the existing wiring in the car (which slots straight in no problem) the unit will not power on
Thinking it may be a fuse or a faulty unit I replaced the fuses and then tried the unit in my friends 51 focus. To my annoyance it works perfectly in his car
Although I did notice that when he took his head unit out to try mine his wiring was different, although he had an ISO socket that went into my head unit the wiring behind it came from 2 bigger blocks leading to the ISO head with a lot more wires than what is currently in my Punto
Does this mean that I need a different wiring arrangement/harness and has anyone had this problem before?:bang:
Thanks
