Hi all,
Ive got a mk2 punto sporting with the standard blaupunkt head unit thats built into the dash with the subwoofer built into the boot. Ive decided its time to replace it with my ripspeed dvd radio head unit (ive had it for a couple of years and been using it daily in my previous car and it still looks brand new, nothings broken, none of the paint has warn or flaked off, and the screen still produces a crystal clear image, i think im one of the extreemly fortunate people who got a good one!:D) i know that i'll need a facia panel and i assume i will need an adapter for the wiring but i dont know what else i will need, i also want to replace all the speakers but i dont want to go and make any new holes anywhere if it can be avoided so what size speakers can i fit where?

ive also got a fusion bass tube (that takes up most of the boot) which is easy to install with the new head unit and i can probably get away with just unplugging the built in sub? or do i need to do something else? also where do i run the wireing to it and wheres the best place to earth it?

if you have any ideas as to what to do please let me know,

thanks.
