Needed:
- armrest with the 3 bolts
- bracket
- ornament
Quick look at the console:


Here is how to remove it:
Unscrew this bolt:

Then these two:

Next you have another two beneath rear blower:

And another two after you remove it:

Here are the last two:
one from the left and one from the right side.
Remove the leather from handbrake and gearshift.
Take of the rear cover:

And final step is to release front side covers:
on the left side there is a connector for CITY/ASR/AUTO.
The last thing you need to do is unplug the cig.lighter connector:

Now you can safely remove the console upwards.

Brackets
Now there is a plastic bracket, that you need to take off.
It is attached to the chassis with pop rivets, best way to remove them is to drill them (IMO).

Now you need to mount the "new" bracket:
Time to drill and cut...
We need a "window" in our console, to allow armrest to be installed.
Once you cut it - begin mounting the console back to it's first state.
Then install the armrest and secure it with the 3 bolts:
Don't forget to put the ornament on top.

Some important info on the brackets ...
There is a difference between 3D and 5D brackets. 3D is lower than 5D.
So if you got 5d bracket, in order to install it in 3D Stilo, you need to cut the bracket and make it shorter with approx. 3.1cm. and then weld it.
If you are installing a 3D bracket in 5D Stilo, you need to extend the bracket with approx. 3.1cm. (like in mine case).
Off course you could always get a new bracket, but in Bulgaria (where I'm from
