how close is it to the bonnet when shut? from that pic looks like it might not fit with a 1242 in, i had one of these off ebay before but it fouled the bonnet hence the swap to a GSR..

If you look in the picture you can see where its gone all shiny on top of the elbow, ts no biggy really but it wasn't right so i swapped it

Anyone near signwerx got a 1242 that wants to go see if it fits..

But the GSR causes the restriction with the bob and ruins airflow by having pipes that are miles too big!

Just to clarify.

The car shown in the pic is a seicento with Punto 75 Engine and the standard punto 75 manifold.

Clearance is 15mm to the bonnet. when closed.

well lets start figuring out how many there are. If we are low on buyers i might be able to talk a few people into getting some ;)

granted but it performs better than my old one..
I was only commenting as it looked as though it might have caught like my old one did. and perhaps it might on a cinq, i think the sei will have a tiny bit more clearance due to its curves. I'm not mocking just trying to help ;)

looking at your photo, though... the bore of the pipe coming from that adptor looks HUGE. this one is only 2" so should have a lot more clearance.
also this one comes out the side while the one you have its like a 90degree bend... if that makes sense...

and chance of a photo of the baby bob next to uncle bob? :D (or just measure the high of it and ill check the difference for you (baby bob has LOADS of clearance)

We also know that when air moves faster, it gets colder. Right?

Therefore with an induction system that has half the internal capacity, the air will be travelling at twice the speed. Giving colder, denser air. Right?

Maybe, but not for the reason stated! Pretty sure that the faster air moves, the hotter it gets (how microwaves work, etc.) But it will also draw heat out of any surface it passes over quicker (providing it's at a lower temperature than that surface) (wind chill). Note, though, that the air is actually becoming warmer while it chills the surface it passes over.

WTH, they look nice and should be efficient, just wish I had a project that needed one at the moment.
