4 days ago i ordered my first car - G.P. 1.4 8v Dynamic :).
i'm so happy now :), but have to wait for it for 90-120 days....

Also i ordered subwoofer and i'm interested in its quality, is it OK?

...and what's the difference between simple subwoofer and Interscope sound system?

Thanks in advance for all your replies!

Hi, i have just ordered a new gp sporting with the sub and although i havent heard it in the new gp punto, i do have the last shape punto which is an xbox which was fitted with an uprated cd/mp3 player and the sub. i believe the sub has the same output but a slightly different encloser shape due to it having to fit in the new boot layout of the new gp. i have seen pics of it in the gp and it looks better positioned than it does in my current xbox but i would imagine the performance to be pretty much identical. if it is, its not a bad little unit for the size, it copes better with more punchy bass tunes rather than real low down stuff obviously due to its size. is it worth the 150 quid:confused: well yes i think so or other wise i wouldnt have ordered one again! but dont get me wrong its not a dual 12" sub encloser that takes over all the music and blows your teeth out, it is however a neat unit, factory fitted with no messin about with wiring and not taking up 90% of your boot! it gives your music a real kick/punch and i think it does a good job of coping with most types of music and it goes loud enough for my ears anyway! so i give it the thumbs up(y)

Does anyone know if the subwoofer can be fitted after production?? I ordered without and i am starting to think i should have gone for it!!

i shouldnt see why not! you could probably pic it up in a few weeks on ebay cheap!:)

Hi, not to sure about that one? you should be able to order one because like every other vehicle part it will have a part number and dealers should obviously be able to order one, for example if they had to replace one under warrenty. The only thing i can think of is whether the wiring is in place to enable it to just be plugged in and fitted, i would imagine due to cost reasons its not, but worth checking out anyway. it may also depend what head unit you have fitted? may be worth asking fiat or local dealer.:)

Has your car actually hit the production line yet? If not, the dealer can make minor changes to the order without affecting the build slot. The addition of the sub should be ok if you go this route. It'll be easier than trying to fit it afterwards.
