Hi everyone its nice to meet you all. Ive joined the forum for some buying advice if that's ok.
I plan on going to look at a 57 plate 1.4 t-jet at the weekend been reading about the GP for a while and really like the look of them.

The question is what do I need to look out for on these? Is the T-jet a good choice? Im only going to use it as a second car for work mainly, had a mk1 punto a few years ago but that was very basic so don't know much about the GP.
Any buying advice on what to check and look out for would be much appreciated..

Hi Nigel , I have an 08 t jet , it's been a cracking car ( touch wood ) my advice would be make sure its not smoking ( being a turbo model ) also check for clunking at the front , possible front links and top strut mounts can go , check heater works on all speeds to check heater resistor , make sure windows work as some complain about iffy working windows , test drive you'll find it's very nippy when you put your foot down and it'll stop well being discs all around , if I think of anything else I'll post again lol good luck with it and hope it's ok , cheers , Dave
