I'm looking to hook my sub up to the OEM stereo. Is there any way to splice the RCA from the sub to the stereo rather than buying anything additional?

Maybe your OEM stereo has the RCA out connectors ?

If there is no rca our put you can connect it with a high level to rca adapter, look on eBay. and then use a sub with a remote gain to adjust from the front of the vehicle, the adapter connects to a rear speaker channel, or use two for a stereo input, one for mono
