Hi guys . Got a grande punto 2006 1.2 8v
I've changed over an ecu and lock set from a donor car.
I can't proxy align the Speedo clocks as it keeps saying airbag node failed.
The ecu etc is from a car with air con and side airbags.. is it looking for a signal from the door airbags? Do I have to switch the function off in it's memory? As I don't have side airbags..

Can any one shed any light on this?

The airbags system has its own controler (near the gear shifter) and ECS (early crash sensor), one in front of the car under the bonnet and two (depending on trim level) in the side pillars, the airbag controller MAY give clearance to the engine ECU (not sure tho).
Can you MES connect to the airbag controller ??
