Hi guys,

Just wondering what people think would be the best product to use here.

I removed the black rubbing strips from my GP today which has made a huge difference to the look of my car. However I noticed there is a kinda obvious patch where the strip used to be, as the paint obviously hasn't faded in the sun like the rest (see bottom photo):

What would be the best course of action to make this less noticeable? TCut? Polish? or sticking them back on ;)

Cheers

Machine polish the rest of the car with a mild cutting polish and then was it. It is possible that the paint that was not covered by the strip may have faded to the point where it will never look quite the same as the paint not exposed to UV.

Cheers

Thanks as always Ben,

Looks like a machine polisher might be on the cards :D

I'll be looking to upgrade to a T-Jet this year so I guess polishing her won't hurt when it comes to selling too.

Cheers
