Looking to turn my 1.4 8v into a sleeper. ( I realise there’s only so much power to get at anyway ) Basically wanting it to be as quick as possible without being too much in your face.

Any ideas besides induction kits?

Sell it, buy a stock T-jet.

Not just easier .. just all around better, cheaper. more reliable, etc etc etc
