Hey guys got a GP tjet 2009.

I have been under my car recently and noticed any oily residue over a switch (not sure what it is) and also a bit up the side. Of the.timing belt.cover ( see picture)

My question is what kind of leak is this and also what problem is I this, because.my seems.to be running fine andy oil level is correct?

Should I be worrying ?

Thanks guys

Oil pressure switch(green o'ring)is above crank sensor. Oil can not come from crank sensor. Wipe/check tightness of oil switch. But looks like it's higher up as cam belt cover looks damp/wet.

Yes this is what u was th8nking? So struggling to see what it could be? I pulled out the oil pressure switch and the yellow part that is inside, is dry and not covered in oil so not sure that is.leaking?

Most likely engine oil from higher up.wipe the cam belt cover with your finger,if it's dirty oil,it's from the engine oil. Then wipe cam belt cover and try to find where it comes from.

Hey Pete

Yeah I have cleaned it up and am going to guage up from now. My one idea is my be oil filter as it's at front between radiator and engine block and u need to pull it up pass all that and maybe oil dripped down as I was pulling it out
