<p>Any way I can carry out proxy alignment without paying £50 to multecuscan or Fiat? I've got an Elm 327 and paid app on my phone for clearing codes but it doesn't cover proxy alignment. I can't justify buying an stop for £50 to only use one.</p>

Only if you know someone that has the Fiat Examiner or a registered version of MES that would do it for free.

Get aprice from main dealer for a one off and you'll see £50 as being very reasonable!

What negative impact could leaving it misaligned have? I currently have it displaying the average mpg or the range so the flashing doesn't really bother me.

Radddogg, does your mileage flash? If so this could be the battery. Also mine flashes due to I updated my blue&me and it didn't finished. I had a proximity alignment done and still flashes. Only way now is replace module at 650 new or 100 odd used. So I left mine. Went to fiat garage and said personally they would just leave it has it is due to cost
