I just got some led bulbs for the number plate.
I also got two of these resistors.

I fitted the yesterday, one resistor on each wire, paralel to the leds but still got a warning light.
The stupid thing is that the when I tested it by removing 1 original light and leave one original light in 1 resistor removed the error.

How much power doe the resistors need to use before the canbus does not show an error?

Surely you need to wire the resistors in series otherwise you will lower the circuit resistance.

Edit. Ignore that, leds have a higher resistance than bulbs not lower, doh!
