so I would absolutely love to be able to fit my iPad to the car somehow. anyone done this or have any ideas? I would prefer it to be somwhere on the centre console if preferable obviously. Im hoping some sort of stand that fixes to the vents or soemthing. although I cant imagine the vents being very strong so its a tough one. (mines the new iPad by the way which is slightly thicker than the iPad 2 so its gotta to be able to fit ) anyone done anything similar would love to see pictures?

The dash board on a normal stand not adequate?

Can't understand the want to do this tbh, as its never going to be in use when the cars in motion is it.

That a brand that makes clips to mount phoneholder and other stuff to your car without the need of glue or drilling into your dashboard.
They design them per brand and model.
There are a few for the GP.

It's something I want to do? Some people like looking at trains. I don't understand why but if they like it what's the harm?

So the dash isn't adequate then? I find watching stuff on the ipad on the dash top than over vent, more comfortable height wise, out of the handful of times I've done it for reference

I must be on a different wave length lol. What you mean on the dash? You talking window suction stand? So it rests on top of the dashboard?

I've one of the Apple covers, so can stand mine on any flat surfaces. Is the GP's dash flat enough to enable this like the Stilo? Saved having to get a holder, but if you've not got a stand already then holder might be the better option, but if you can get a dash mounted one its better Imo.

Oh right you mean a smart case? Lol. Yeh I have one of these. And yeh I could probable sit it on top of the dials. But it's the travel I'm bothered about, id like to be able to use it as an on screen media player. Mainly music on the move obviously lol. With a sideshow or something (just to show off at lights:devil but it would also give me a specific place to store it without risk of damaging it. Because it slides around in the car unless I like wedge it into the door shelves. Bit I literally mean WEDGE it in lol which I feel it start to bend as I do it but if I don't it just bounces around.
