Hi I'm just wondering what type of bulb it is in the interior because I am looking to try and change it to a blue bulb, but I have also heard that you can paint over the existing bulb with whatever colour nail varnish and it works, but I'd rather do the proper job :)

Thanks

EDIT: She's a 1.2 Grande Punto 2007

Check the Owners manual, it specifies all bulb types used by the car and ow to change them. If you don't have it, open the interior light housing and take a look(I assume you are talking about the interior curtsey light) I assume it will be a C5W type bulb. but check before you buy.

Hope this helps.

Blue nail varnish works a treat. Lorry drivers use it on roof marker lights although it will fail MOT if used on any other lights except for front fog.

Hi guys, i wanted to put a LED White bulb for the curtesy light. But whay lenght shoud i buy? 31,36,39,41mm?

Ideally a 38mm bulb. Though anything up to a 43 will be able to squeeze between the holders.
Mine are currently 42mm, 18 months old and running perfect

How do you replace the bulb? As in how do you get in to the housing? Do you just pull it out of the roof? Its a Fiat punto Mk2b/s 1.4 sporting....
Iv just got it and clueless about most things with it haha
Cheers Matt

Took mine out at weekend to measure bulb. This refers to the double light, so not sure if same if only a single. Basically, just pull it down from rear. I struggled a bit, so pushed key in and twists till it lowered - probably best to use something other than key, but couldn't be bothered to go back in and find something.

Once it drops down, just lift up plate on back and bulbs were there.
