You might get more money for the car selling it as a none boy racer car. Meant without disrespect but you know what I mean

i know exactly what you mean mate. The thing is, that exhaust is most likely better than the standard but despite that, I wouldnt by another car that had an aftermarket exhaust or anything really. Damn the world of 'dead-money'

so if im gonna sell it standard, it might be worth just buying a standard exhaust arent i, instead of getting the piece to fit

You could modify the aftermarket exhaust such that it could fit the standard manifold? That way when you come to sell you can sell it with the oem manifold on but with most the aftermarket exhaust still in place, but sell the uprated manifold with it if you're offered the right price? You don't want to be left with a manifold you can't fit to your next car do you?

Did you ever sort out that deep rumbling sound in the end?

yeah thats what I meant mate, i didnt know if to just get a piece to make the old manifold fit or just buy a whole standard exhaust. I like to plan ahead lol.

and yeah, I got a reducer pipe fitted that still makes it sound nice, but doesnt wake up neighbours ;)

gymjunkie, thanks for that. You are correct, it is a 4 branch so no it wont fit.

As for fitting underneath, the standard manifold would probably require extension as my de-cat manifold would not reach the standard GP exhaust...hence why I got a custom one made.

You would probably be best to remove the whole system and sell it seperately then to get some money back, or sell it as is on here or piston heads where modifications arent an issue to buyers

Nothing wrong with being well prepared.

Love this site though. The help and the people are brilliant
