Help with clutch pedal - I forced it and It's too high now!! How do I adjust it back?

Hello People,

I bought a Fiat GP 1.4 Active 1 month ago and something wrong happened yesterday :(

I was trying to set a steering wheel lock (the one that goes from the steering wheel through the clutch, not sure if you know them), and I did a lot of force, I forced the lock too hard, then I heard a sound and I saw the clutch pedal is too high now. What can I do to solve this? How do I adjust the pedal back to its original position?

Now the clutch is higher than the brake pedal and the brake pedal is higher than the throttle pedal. (I think that in the original position the brake and clutch pedals are both in the same level and sightly higher than the throttle pedal right?)

By the way, the clutch is working perfectly. It's just too high.

Please help!!!!

Not sure how you expect anyone to solve this,? Surely if you've bent pedal upwards, you need to bend it back the other way

Surely if it were that easy I would have done it already.

oh and I don't expect anyone to solve this, I just expect anyone familiar with this to HELP ME telling me how to solve this problem. Big difference right?

judging by no replies, i would hazard a guess that noone has encountered the same problem. all you can do, is try bending it back, or look at replacing the pedal if its not able to bend back, if it works as it should, i wouldnt worry too much. all i can suggest is throw the steering wheel lock, grande puntos are pretty secure anyway, with immobiliser and deadlocks etc.

I'd get down in the footwell with a light and see exactly what I had bent or broken then replace it. I wouldn't leave it how it is because inevitability you will end up riding the clutch and wearing it out.

Steering locks make me laugh. I saw a brand new merc ml the other day with one on, if that is going to be stolen it will be with the keys.
