Hello all

Recently bought my 1.9 mjet and it's been lowered on apex springs,
anyone had any experience with these? As I am experiencing a very firm ride!!! pot holes and speed bumps
are now my enemy!!

I guess you could say that Apex are a mid range spring compared to the likes of Eibach Sportlines. I have no experience of the ride on Apex but i can certainly say that the Eibachs produce a firm ride. Its not terrible but i now make a point to avoid holes and such on the road.
Its a trade off really, looks versus ride quality.
All you could do if it really bothers you is try Eibach's at £150 + fitting or see if you can get some used original springs but then your car will have the wheel arch gap of a 4x4 again! LOL:yum:

Yh I think I'm just gunna have to live with the suspension
as it is, it's fine on nice smooth roads like good a roads and motorways but the town roads around my
area are crap... Pot hole heaven haha
also Cornering and roundabouts are very good sticks to the road like glue with hardly any body roll
