I was looking at the spec on parkers and the corsa has a 0-60 time of 7.6 and has 147bhp and 154 lb-ft of torque and weighs 1194kg. A remapped t-jet has about 160 bhp, and 152 lb-ft of torque standard (dunno after remap) and weighs 1155 kg so must have a better power to weigh ratio so does that mean the 0-60 will be as fast if not quicker than the corsa??

cheers

Abarth T-Jet has 155 Bhp and 172lb ft in Sports mode and that does in it around 7.8 with sports supposidly. So would expect possibly no, it also depends on the ratios and a few other things. (Sports mode also alters the fueling and allows the turbo to overboost in lower gears)

Tbh 0-62 is a bit useless, unless you are tearing away from the lights like a rude boy, check the in gear times instead?

I don't know where vauxhall get that time from, the corsa vxr doesn't even get it's stated 0-60 according to a friend of mine so I can't see the sri being as quick as that.

Regardless, 0-60 means **** all unless you plan on drag racing.
