Can someone help?

The engine light keeps coming on and usually when it's a cold start the car would drive as if the turbo doesn't work. sometimes i will have full throttle and it would struggle to get 40mph. once the car has warmed, i can restart the engine and the thing seems to work again except the engine light will remain on.

i have taken it to the fiat garage where they did some tests and said that the components were very dirty so they cleared it out and i have also changed the oil and oil filter. the problem seem to have been fixed until 4 days after and the problem just came back and i am £180 lighter.

this car is great until things starts going wrong and no one seem to have an answer to fix this problem. someone please advice

Its a common problem on the 1.3.

Its the wastegate that has seized and will need cleaning. I took mine to local garage and the cleaned and lubed it for £30.
