Youll get other advice & replies on this subjetc but tread carefully. Some of these extended warranties can look great on paper but not so good in real life. I was quoted £47 / month on my car, I decided to save the money rather than buy "peace of mind" and so far I am quids in, even after having to pay for a new EGR fitted & a pair of front springs over the period since my warranty expired.
Warranty Direct have been pretty good for me. I got a policy with them and my alternator failed 2 weeks into the cover - paid for with no problems.
Best way to squeeze a good price out of them is get a quote online and wait for them to phone you back. And believe me, they will - constantly until you answer. I negotiated the top package with dealer level repairs and the added extras of MOT failure and something or other else add on. It's £35 a month and I'd have to have the policy for nearly a year in order to be out of pocket now
Most people think that the £35 price is quite a lot, but it's actually very good as the ones who've said that seem to have opted for the lower level of cover...
