Sorry for the scare!

And they do have "Acid Jazz Blue" on the config.

Some of these options are quite interesting, on the GP sound, some of the options include an 'enhanced dashboard', as well as a metallic paint upgrade for the interior. Although you can't configure it there is a 1.2 (65) as well as a 1.4 (77) when you go to 'compare' it.

As for the EVO, an option that I noticed in the downloaded brochure, they also had the same fake twin exhausts that another member fitted to their GP on this forum the other day. As well as this...

■ Optional metallic finish front bumper

I wonder if this means you can have body coloured bumpers, or if they just mean black or silver.

and yes they have acid blue on the config but not some of the other colours like unplugged green.

They're hardly a secret. We've had ours in the showroom since before Christmas!

Must be one of the worst kept secrets tbh as we've all seen the pictures on the net, but for some reason Fiat want to try and keep it secret.

I was in Forward Autos before Christmas looking at a manual left on one of the sales reps desk, as soon as he seen me looking at it it was whipped off me quicker than you can say jack frost :D and put away in the draw lol

After browsing the website configuration, there seems to be a few extras & a few colours etc missing on certain cars that doesnt make much sense to me.

That said its not a bad baseline to print out & take to a dealer to tell them exactly what you want.

iv just configured an evo, and discovered that the biggest engine is the 1.4petrol. they have dropped the 1.6 and 1.9 diesel engines and the 1.3 is the only diesel. that means the new generation evo drivers wont have anything on us smaller engined grande owners when they try and leave us at the lights lol :D

pps the only engine u can get new on gp is now 1.4 sound. whatever sound means lol. why have they dropped the other engine on both cars?

Can't see myself in Punto Evo then as they are only doing a 1.3 Mjet.

Need something with more power.

theres a 120bhp mjet coming in october according to a brochure i picked up dealership. (If i remember rightly its a 1.6, not 100% sure though.)

maybe to sell of the remaining stock Grande's so they're not seen as out of date as soon as the keys are handed over?

True, website now doesnt do the T-jet etc, only a 1.2 & 1.4 "Sound"

Configurator suggests no Dualogic with the 95hp multijet, despite this being available elsewhere? Or is this a mistake?

1.3 16v MultiJet 95bhp Diesel Engine (Second Generation)

Max Power: 95bhp
Max Torque: 200 Nm
Top Speed: 111 mph
0-62: 11.7 seconds
Fuel Consumption, manual (Combined Cycle): 67.3mpg
Fuel Consumption, dualogic (Combined Cycle): 68.9mpg
CO2 emissions, manual: 110g/km
CO2 emissions, dualogic: 107g/km

(Taken from a brochure)
Diesels also say £35 Road Tax which is pretty tastey.

So theres definately dualogic with the 95hp.

The torque from the diesels is crazy, how much torque does a 1.9 mjet kick out? i know diesels are more torque but damn i never realised lol

280NM standard - a LOT more with a remap.

That's the same torque as my '03 Doblo 1.9 turbo with 100hp, and I get about 45mpg.

So, as many testers suggest, the 95 Diesel is the pick of the bunch with it's astonishing mpg and performance combination: the torque will give it excellent real world overtaking acceleration by the way.

The slightly raised ride height might be answered by the greatly improved, both in quietness and comfort, ride of the car over the 'old' GP.
