Hi guys, I have owned my GP Tjet for 3 weeks now. The brochure states that this model has a MultiFunction Reconfigurable display on the dash console. The manual clearly shows the three types of display. 1. Standard 2. Multifunction and 3. Multifunction Reconfigurable.

It turns out mine only has the multifunction display as confirmed by Fiat in the UK and my dealer. My dealer tells me that my car is now classed as a misbuild as it should have had this MF configuarble display and is now in contact with Fiat to get it sorted out for me. Any one else noticed this before? maybe worth checking yours if you have recently purchased a GP Tjet.

You can change the display to show the 'turbo' pressure for sure. Not sure about anything else. Not a massive thing, but when you buy a car you expect it to have the things listed as standard.

I Think the manual is a little confusing on this, it lists a 'Multifunctional Reconfigurable display' on page 15 which I have on mine which is a LCD display with black lettering, it then also shows below a 'Reconfigurable Multifunstion Display' which is slightly larger and has a black background with coloured lettering which can show the turbo pressure. The brochure in the spec sheet at rear lists the first one but the wording is so similar I can see where the confusion arises from. Mind you mine is a 57 plate so your manual may show something different?

Each of the three displays are different, where and how the time is displayed etc. The differences can clearly be seen in the GP manual, maybe you have the wrong display too? does your look like the picture of the Multifunction display (2), ie, the one where the date appears across the top of the display.

I will let you know what the dealer says when he rings me this week after speaking to Fiat.

Hi, Yes I have the one that has the date across the top,
in my manual it is the same as the one listed as 'Multifuction Reconfigurable display for sport models' (fig 12, page 15), it is also the same one as shown on page 9 of GP brochure which shows the Sporting instruments so I am pretty sure I have the correct one (mind you the brochure I downloaded from Fiat website 2 weeks ago dosen't even list the T-jet!), although the other one would have been nicer:)

Could well be just for the Abarth version but the brochure states that it is on the 1.4 TJET 120.

My dealer is currently speaking to the Fiat 'Zone' manager and should have an answer for me tomoz. Will keep you posted.

we have been talking about it on the dutch forum

Thank you swans-gp, mine certainly is a tjet with blue and me but it doesnt have that display. My dealer has been in touch today and they are currently seeing if this dash is available in the uk or if it was not supposed to be on uk spec cars. Once they get back in touch I will let you know.

i dont think this is for uk GP's, or would it not be in the owner handbook?
It is in the owners handbook on page 15 ;) (in my one anyway, UK car 57 reg), in there it is called a 'Reconfigurable Multifunction Display' whereas the one I have in my car is on the same page and it is called a 'Multifunction Reconfigurable display', very slight change of wording but it is the latter that is listed in brochure spec sheets
