they are legal, hence why you see them on emergency service cars , and they also seel them in some shops, and online stores saying that they are legal

As josh says Humberside police have the same units in their panda cars (but in blue and red)

As far as im aware this is still the law, obviously in some circumstances this is hard to abide by though...

All new house builds on main roads must have a turning area to enable you to drive into and out off your driveway in a forward direction. Certainly was the case in Scotland when I built my house in 1992. Older properties obviously are not covered by this particualr piece of planning law.

Should have worded it differently, obviously in some cases it is impossible for some people not to do this, was merely somewhere to ask the question

I wouldnt say its off topic? The lads put these lights in to reverse out onto a main road, we're merely discussing the legalities of it

Its Illegal not to comply with the highway code, thts why if you have seperate foglights on your car, you can be charged if they're on un-necessarily. Its also an offense to not have water in your washerfluid tank (Thats off topic lol)

Coupl questions...

What performance mods have you done to get 84bhp? and how much?

And how much and where did you get your HID upgrade from, i really want it lol...also, lower you car and it will look the sh*t.

mines standard apart from the GSR kit (first in production cost me about £120 discounted )

HID's cost me £75 from eBay H4 fitment

coilovers are on the cards

I can't understand how a 1.2 8v Grande could have 84bhp with just a GSR fitted,

Bloody hell, the induction kit alone added nearly 20 horses..thats impressive, and £75 is cheap for the HID conversion, i've been looking at like £200 to get it done, did you get a choice of bulbs, because i would be looking to get 12000k for a nice blue light to match the car.

Dont suppose you could get me link to HIDs?

we found out that it was running 76 standard!!!!

my 6000k HID's are a bright white/blue. 1200k look stupid. and purple lol

search ebay for H4 HID 6000k

Hmmm, i very much doubt mine is running that standard.....its ridiculously slow lol.

Anyhow, cheers mate i'll have a look now.
