Well I got so bored of waiting for the badges to be released, so I had them made instead :p

I've got ones for the wheel centres and steering wheel on order, It's a costly solution but worth every penny in my eyes.

Well here's some pics for y'all to see.

Tar,
Tom

very nice mate.
where did you get them from and what sort of price are we talking ?

Jealous MUCH!

i want,

lol, how much did they set you back? any chance of a sale because i think a lot of owners on here would like them!

Got them from a Vinyl company near me, not sure if i can name drop but they are on the way into bath A38.

They're not rubberised like the ones off abarthbadges but i've applied them over my original scorpion badges.

1st in uk maybe :yum:

any chance of getting a bulk order and you could make some profit? il snap up a set?

Genius mate, very good.

If you can get them done in bulk i would buy the front and back ones. Im guessing they could do custom ones, for instance red background instead of black.

Let us know if its possible.

Basically, I've made the car to look Abarthy as a tribute nothing more, except for the fact I finally got round to booking Angel Tuning so that happens soon (Aug 14th for anyone interested). - Oh and not to mention the plate, considering Abarth's new advertising campaign is "The Scorpion Returns" - Tee Hee

Also by the time the real Abarth comes out, I should have enough money for an uprated clutch and maybe more so I can have the bhp put up even more aslong as I upgrade any parts before re-remapping. :yum: So it'll end up burning off the real Abarth so in my mind (as crazy as I am) soon it will be worthy of wearing the badge.

Will see about getting some made up. For the entire set (Wheels, Front, Rear, and steering wheel) it cost me just under £50 but that was due to having the image edited on the computer, and yes you can have custom backgrounds.
I would reccomend you have the scorpion badges fitted first as they give it a more domed look and the border you need (black / red).

Cheers lads,
Tom

How many BMW's do you see out on the road that have an M Sport badge? I wonder out of all of them how many are actually M-Series. Its each to their own, i personally like being different. I dont think the blue Fiat badges fit with the rest of my car at all. I would put the new Fiat badges on tomorrow if it wasnt for the fact that i think it will make the red look stupid. As someone mentioned earlier you get kids who put VTS badges on their 1.1 Saxo's. I dont see the point in that because they are leagues apart whereas the multijet at the moment is as near to an Abarth there is.

bmw=different badge but the same principle applies richy boy....:D

Thanks for your input, but in my opinion the original blue badges don't do exotica red GP's any favours. Also I know it's not an Abarth, but as I say, it's soon to be quicker :D. Plus I like my car to stand out and look a little different from the rest.

Also why post comments like "it's not an abarth, it doesn't look like one, it looks like a sporting" - Plainly this is obvious as it is a Sporting. - Why post on threads which don't interest you, seems silly to me.

Anywho, for those that do like the badges, here's some more pics. (Taken at Weston - No I don't drive up and down like the chavs lol)

just saying what i think. i think the sporting stands out enough as it is.

after all it is a forum everybody is entitled to voice their veiws.i see nowt wrong with wanting to be different, toms logos look good as he said they look better than the blue logos especially on the red i agree.but the new logo style is better,no matter what colour it is.as for your car going to be faster than the up coming gp abarth,no. no chance diesel remap sorry disagree.and i have 170.the abarth will have at least that.diesel too slow to sixty...(n)

I agree while just having a remap but i'm talking about going much further than that, much much further. Although it's not 0-62 i'm after, more 30/40 - 70/80.

Don't get me wrong I'm looking forward to my 170 remap, and thats more than enough for my age, but soon I'll be wanting more power - I suppose I could just trade up to the Abarth but that takes all the fun and challenge away from making the diesel quicker :D
I'll be asking the guy/s who come to remap our cars what went wrong with the cars that had more than 200bhp so I know what to upgrade first lol. Sod it - I'll buy a R32 and stick the GP's shell over the top :p

we would all like a r32 4wd and alot heavier than a gp is 247bhp or there abouts meaner looking too.but 200bhp in a multijet that would be scary stuff indeed, hope you achieve your goal, alot of modifications needed i think, good luck
