well thats what i agree in. if you pay 12,000 or what ever you do expect a good product. now i have throughly enjoyed the car, but yes minor niggles like this do dampen the experience of owning the car.

i never said that i would kick off if they didnt give me any more. but i do belive that wts the harm in asking? i mean as i said previously, what you don't ask you don't get. yes you can all say there is a new found culture about getting the most or whatever. but im just a customer who paid in the region of 13-14 thousand pounds for a new car and expected it to be relatively fault free.

so a little compensation isnt too much to ask for is it? if i served you some raw chicken and you got salmonella your not going to say...it was just a mistake are you?

you should accept the £100 with the dignity it was given and consider yourself lucky.
and as for deal or no deal change dealer if you can and put it down to experience and get on with life,some people want cream on top, you are lucky enough to be able to afford a new car,some people don't know when they are well off, when there are people out there that don't know were their next meal is coming from....

That pretty deep! I know what your saying but its a argument we could apply to anything really.I cant understand how people pay £200-300,000 for a house with a couple of years warranty....makes Fiats warrany quite appealing

Yeah your right, just got a bit carried away.

If you bought the car on HP then you can theoretically reject the car as the car is the property of the finance company until you make the final payment.

You can also moan to the finance company, not fiat, they will get heavy for you.

I did this years ago on a Punto Mk1 that I bought new, had a load of grief with so I threatened to reject the car and leave it on the garage forecourt as it ws not my car, not my prob, finance companies car their prob.

Things magically happened after that.

erm the problems, well most of them have been rectified and i dont think ill reject it! its not that bad! but people are i dont know looking into it a bit too seriosuly. i was only going to ask for more to be a little bit cheeky. not to scavange for every last drop.

and yes i do realise i am lucky. but i also worked my fat arse off for what iv got. so it didnt come cheap.

they all laughed at british rail but its better than the privately run crappy railways weve got now but thats another story at least your fiats cheaper to run than going by train.

TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN.

I had my car replaced last year because it failed an MOT after 2 months...got no cash/compensation. Didnt have use of my car or any car for that matter for weeks.

Ive been speaking to fiat uk, my dealership and my solicitor for the last 4 months about the numerous faults on my car(replacement LOL).....and ive been offered jack ****!

Was told on thursday......my car needs a new dash console???? Because its showing a Tape deck that isnt there.

Il reel off some of my faults to put it into perspective.

1.centre blower (finally replaced woop woop)
2. Window blower trim twisted
3. Foot well blower trim fallen off
4. Dodgy paintwork...blisters spots etc
5. Door lock
6. Electric window button fell off
7. Sqealing brakes
8. Seat rails replaced
9. radio not tuning properly
10. clutch judder...in 1st 2nd and reverse
11. Wont start in the morning
12. showing tape deck
13. millage flashing

There is actually 20 including this new one. Im willing to sit back and let my solicitor deal with it now..... quite frankly it has become a joke. But hey ho, **** happens lol.

rob19791........honest mate please try another dealer,all those faults are easily solved except number 4 which i'm no expert on so wont comment on.
