The headlight sits around 1.5 inch underneath the bumper which makes it seriously difficult to wedge out lol, I think someone has done it before though.

I would like to add that it's easier to get behind teh headlight if you remove the screw behind the wheel that keeps the arch in place. This way you have a little more room to put it away. I just turend the wheel outwards and put the arch behind it so I hand my hands free.

The first headlight (drivers side) was nice and simple, but then i got to the passenger side... damn that headlight was hard to get out, everything was in the way and i bust a screw trying to undo it to get the bumper off. In the end i had to cut this piece of plastic to remove the bumper! All finished and screwed back together now. Many thanks for the guide! Rgds, James.

Ended up sawing and drilling through them. I also had to rip off the plastic round 1 screw in my o/side wheel arch! Then i couldn't figure out how to unplug the lights lol ![]() Just for anyone who plans to change their lights, the securing bolts down behind the headlamp aren't necessary to keep the light in place. The plastic bit next to it keeps it sturdy and just pop a cable tie through the hole if you wanna be sure. Mines are very secure with the plastic bits in place and the 2 nuts on top tightened. My car is a 56 Punto which probably explains the rusted screws and the huge trouble i went to. Probs wouldn't have this problem with newer models. ![]()

Guessing you mean the bits of plastic that comes off the light and onto the body work in the engine bay? Mine snapped off but made no difference what so ever!! Thansk for the reply Sam

Tried "the clip can be squeezed and released, allowing the connection to be removed" but it doesn't want to budge? Worried I will break or damage the connector! Any help would be greatly appreciated ![]() Thanks
