the GP doesn't like LED's as it upsets the resistance in the circuit

KIM1B3R this may help, you need a load resistor for the LED side lights. the problem is the LED does not draw enough power for the body computer to recognise as a full "load", therefore it turns off that circuit until a "load" is present, so your LED doesn't light up. The Load Resistor fixes this problem by drawing power and tricking the body computer into reading a load in the circuit and therefore keeping the circuit turned on.

Ta for the guide

Replaced my headlight and sidelight bulbs today
Got xenon headlight bulbs and went back for blue coated sidelight bulbs when I saw how yellow they looked when the headlights were one.

Fiat really need to improve the detailing in their manual as it tells you nothing compared to a walk through like this (y)

Hi guys,
I bring up this old topic because I have the same problem.
What i really want to know is, are the lights connected together, in pairs?
I have a Fiat Stilo. I tried searching for a 5W load resistor, couldn't find any. In this case we should have one load resistor connected to one bulb terminal on each side? I have 4 bulbs, if they are connected 2 by 2, then 2 resistors, every bulb for itself - 4 resistors but 5W?!

oem lights have H4 bulbs, is your car modified?
H4 works for both hi and dipped beam, other don't so its important you get it right. Besides they are different physical sizes so they should fit if they are wrong.
