thats a lot of reading, feel sorry for them, accidents do happen, but its the other stuff that is going on i dont agree with. best of luck to shove it up them
I know at least two people this has happened too and there have been several other reports of it locally including TVR's, Porsches etc in our local press. Always by garages doing service/repair (we don't have MOT test stations). I know one of the guys had to claim on his own insurance, but all the others have been (as far as I know) reputable companies and paid for the damage. One guy even got his top of the range BMW back to find a new best 0-60 time stored in its onboard computer. :shakehead:
Some people have no respect for other peoples property....
when panda 2 went for MOT, it went 2 miles away for the welding/plating repairs, came back to the garage, then, without contacting me, left the car on the road outside the industrial estate (1/4 mille square not big one, it was only by chance i went pass to see if they were still open at 6pm, the garage owner said "what! i didn`t know that, I`m at colledge at present. will ring matty" 5mins later "matty" turns up after delivering a customer`s car back, how he thought i was going to take the car when he had the keys, he didn`t say after thinking i was picking it up from outside the unit! there are some sh*t heads in the local area and having F1 ATM on it would only end up damaged me thinks,
also read in classic car weely: 2 `E`type jags stolen from a restoration garage compound, when they should have been in doors at night or there full stop. I bet the garage will try to weasel out of that one!
