Just to post a picture of the new 500 we picked up yesterday afternoon!
It`s already had a good run, nearly 80 miles and it drives beautifully. After all the recent posts about poor handovers and wrong spec cars, I have to say that we had a perfect new car experience from Rockingham Cars - the car was beautifully prepared, handover was very thorough, and the sales manager even paired my wifes phone to the car for her as part of the procedure!
When we got home there was even a call from the garage on the answerphone to ask if we had had a good trip home (we are approx 50 miles from the dealership) and if we had any queries which had been missed at handover. We used Rockingham as they were very clued up about the scrappage scheme and extremely helpful even though the whole purchase was done over the phone without a visit to the dealership until collection.
If the rest of the ownership of the car is as good as this then we are onto a winner! As per the other thread I will of course phone FIAT CS to let them know aout our positive delaership experience!
